KDE a obciążenie RAMu

Po pierwsze witam wszystkich.

Mam takie pytanie. Zrobiłem reinstalkę powyłączałem Nepomuka, efekty graficzne i chyba wszystko inne co przychodziło mi do głowy i ram zszedł do 600 mb. Ile zasobów powinno zużywać?

Z góry dzięki.

Re: KDE a obciążenie RAMu

A jaki dokładnie masz sprzęt?

Re: KDE a obciążenie RAMu

Komputer to składak ze starszego sprzętu.

System Debian 64-bit z KDE
CPU Pentium Duo-Core E6600 3.06 GHz
RAM 2x2 Giga
Swap 2 Giga (wiem nie potrzeba, ale jest)
Grafika nVidia GeForce 9600 GT (aktualny sterownik pobrany se strony producenta i zainstalowany przez konsolę wczoraj)

Edit:

To są dane po ponownym uruchomieniu.

Re: KDE a obciążenie RAMu

Używam kde i raczej 600M to teraz norma. Akonadi i nepomuka mam wyłączonego i...

andrzej@leo-09:~$ free -m
total       used       free     shared    buffers     cached
Mem:          3965        989       2975          0         35        395
-/+ buffers/cache:        558       3406
Swap:         1996          0       1996

to raczej normalne bo i na lapku mam podobne osiągi. Jak zacznie mi brakować ram to uruchomię fluxboxa.
Procek AMD Athlon II X4 630 ram 4GB i GF 9500.(sterowniki zamknięte efekty pulpitu włączone).

Re: KDE a obciążenie RAMu

U mnie jest tak na amd64:
-  119 MB z załadowanym KDM
-  379 MB KDE po uruchomieniu (na i386 będzie coś ok. 200 MB)

P.S.
Na Wheezy i386 miałem ok. 160 MB

Re: KDE a obciążenie RAMu

Zainstalowałem kde-standard i task.

Re: KDE a obciążenie RAMu

Większym problemem jest w tym przypadku Chromium.
Przy skomplikowanych rzeczach lepiej jednak pozamykać wszystko bo Twoja ilość pamięci nie musi wystarczać do takich zadań.

Gdy miałem KDE to użycie pamięci zależało od architektury, ilości dostępnej pamięci, konfiguracji jądra itp.
Na netbooku było to ok 150 MB, a na laptopie z 4 Gb Ramu ok 400-500. A Ty masz jeszcze zamknięte sterowniki, a to tez zwiększa użycie.

Reszta jest pobierana przez karte graficzną?

To zostaw to w spokoju i wrzuć fluxbox'a. Skonfigurujesz w godzinę maks i będziesz miał spokój.
