Podświetlenie ekranu - dostępne dopiero po zalogowaniu?

Witam, mam taki problem po instalacji debiana - z tego co widze akceleracja sprzętowa jest out of the box (grafika intel hd) ale w dziwny sposób działa podświetlenie ekranu. Kiedy się loguje ekran jest na maksa jasny, mogę za to zmniejszyć jasność DOPIERO po zalogowaniu. Czy to normalne? Jak to zmienić?

Kiedy się loguje ekran jest na maksa jasny, mogę za to zmniejszyć jasność DOPIERO po zalogowaniu.

Ja mam dokładnie tak samo na live gnome, to się pojawiło przy nowszej wersji, wcześniej było normalnie. Coś schrzanili w gnome — pakiety są dokładnie takie same, świeżo zbudowany obraz, configi domyślne.

To samo miałem przy XFCE. Dodatkowo co jakiś czas pojawia się odgłos startowania cd-romu, tak jakby na chwile. Dziwne, na starszym lapku nigdy nie miałem tego typu "problemów".

Przykładowo na kernelu z wersji stabilnej mogę regulować podświetlenie już w powłoce (nawet przed załadowaniem acpi), na kernelu z backportów już sterowanie podświetleniem w powłoce mi nie działa.

Ja w Debianie zawsze używam kerneli Aptosida, na backportowych już ze dwa razy dźwięku nie miałem.

Obecnie, na Debianie Jessie (testing), mam to jajo z tego repo:

Teraz nie ma sensu gdybać.
Sensowna obsługa procesorów i3/i5/i7 zaczyna się jakoś w okolicach jądra 3.5 -3.6. W stabilnym Debianie jest 3.2.
Aktualizacja kernela to pierwsza rzecz jaką powinno się wykonać gdy są takie problemy.
