Zainstalowałam Debiana Jessie na czysto, po formacie. Na początku chodziło, a potem sytuacja zrobiła się jak w temacie.
Podejrzewałam, że nie chce się zalogować z powodu zajętej partycji z /home (100%), ale zwolniłam do 85% i dalej bez zmian. Co zrobić z tym fantem?

Xorg.conf jest w ogóle niepotrzebny. Proponuje wywalić jeżeli nie musisz na sztywno dopisywać konkretnych opcji. Potem powinno ruszyć.

Co się dzieje dokładnie przy próbie zalogowania na konto użytkownika bezpośrednio po starcie systemu ?
Menedżer logowania wyglądał normalnie, a potem albo była ciemność albo było widać kursor. Teraz jak pokombinowałam z jakimiś cudzymi rozwiązaniami z netu, to i menedżera logowania nie ma, tylko buźka z "oops, something went wrong".
Miałam wcześniej Gnome, ale był niesamowicie wolny po aktualizacji, więc zainstalowałam Xfce i było ok. Potem nie uruchomił się i doszłam do tego, że partycja jest pełna. Po zrobieniu miejsca dalej nic, więc się poddałam, zainstalowałam system od początku bez środowiska graficznego i doinstalowałam tylko Xfce no i jest jak jest:/

Menedżer gdm3 (on odmawia współpracy dalej, ale pomyślę o tym, jak sobie przeniosę wszystko z katalogu domowego starego).

To problem stwarzają jakieś stare pliki konfiguracyjne.
Możesz usuwać/kopiować niektóre i tak sprawdzać który był problematyczny lub, tak jak teraz robisz, przenieść najistotniejsze rzeczy na nowe konto.
