Radeon HD 5145 - programy graficzne bardzo wolno działają

Witam wszystkich jest to mój pierwszy post na forum. Gdybym złamał jakąś zasadę lub popełnił błąd bardzo proszę o wyrozumiałość.

Posiadam Laptop Toshiba Sateliite L555
Procesor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i3 CPU       M 330  @ 2.13GHz
Karta Graficzna: Radeon HD 5145

Zainstalowałem Debiana. Pobrałem paczkę firmware-linux-nonfree. Zaktualizowałem sterowniki xserver-xorg-video-ati, xserver-xorg-video-radeon. System działał stabline lecz glxgears pokazywał 60 FPS.
Stworzyłem plik xorg.conf. Problem FPSów się rozwiązał (pokazuje między 800, a 1200) jednak zacina mi się youtube, ale tylko gdy daję na pełny ekran oraz programy na których bardzo mi zależy inkscape i gimp.
Nie wiem czy to wina karty graficznej, czy może czegoś innego. Sprzęt nie jest najgorszy, próbowałem na windowsie i wszystko ładnie śmiga więc nie jest to wina hardwaru tylko bardziej softu.
Dodam także, że zainstalowałem na chwilę sterowniki Catalyst 13.1 legacy. Problem youtuba się rozwiązał jednak inkscape oraz gimp nadal chodziły mało płynnie.
Proszę o pomoc w rozwiązaniu problemu.

Jaki problem fps?
Prawdopodobnie było dobrze. 60 bo włączona synchronizacja.

Zainstalowałeś sterowniki zamknięte, a w xorg.conf masz:

Driver "radeon"

Wszystko totalnie pomieszane.

Powiem szczerze, że trochę bezmyślnie skopiowałem xorg.conf z tego poradnika. Dotyczy sterowników otwartych więc myślałem, że tak ma być.

Jak w takim razie to powinno wyglądać?
Tak jak pisałem liczba FPS skoczyła w górę, jednak komputer chodzi nadal tak samo.

Usuń obecny plik xorg.con.
Zainstaluj sterowniki fglrx-legacy-driver.
Po restarcie pokaż zawartość nowego xorg.conf i Xorg.0.log

Aptitude ma tylko jeden pomysł. Jednak jak go akceptuje to nie instaluje driverów.
Jakieś pomysły :) ?
Poprzednio Catalyst 13.1 legacy
zainstalowałem pobierając paczkę ze strony amd
a następnie
sh *.run kilka paczek doinstalowałem i poszło, ale nie przyniosło to upragnionych efektów.

Sekcji contrib repozytorium experimental nie dodałeś, stąd problem z instalacją. Gdybyś instalował z repozytorium, to usuń najpierw to co instalowałeś skryptem. Przy czym jeśli zainstalowałeś prawidłowo ze skryptu (tzn. wygenerowałeś jeszcze xorg.conf i system faktycznie używa tych sterowników), to efekt powinien być taki sam. To te same sterowniki, jedynie sposób instalacji inny.

Witam na forum.
Nie chce sie za bardzo deklarowac bo nie wiem jak bedzie z czasem, ale wstepnie moge zadeklarowac pomoc osobiście :-).
Config mam teoretycznie zblizony
M380 + HD5650
Uzywam zamknietych sterownikow distro testing ( wheezy i686-pae) wiec instalacje tego syfu mam za soba :-).
Mieszkam w okolicy matecznego.

A tak właściwie to dlaczego instalujemy sterowniki legacy? Ja się nie znam kompletnie na Radeonach, ale one są chyba dla serii 2, 3 i 4 tylko.

Oczywiście wcześniej przed instalacją usunąłem te sterowniki, przeinstalowałem xserver-xorg-video-ati oraz mese.
Też byłem zdziwiony, że instaluję fglrx-legacy. Moja karta jest niestety porzucona jako jeden z nielicznych hd5*** może stąd te problemy.

No i porobiło się :) Instalacja przebiegła pomyślę. Gnome shell nie odpalił się. Piszę z gnome-classic.

Potrzebujesz jeszcze fglrx-legacy-modules-dkms.

Instalujesz Legacy bo to tak naprawdę podkręcony Radeon HD 4xxx.

@Yossarin - pisząc ten wątek miałem już wyczyszczone sterowniki fglrx. Więc chyba nie ma potrzeby usuwania. Doinstalowałem fglrx-legacy-modules-dkms. System wstał, Gnome-Shell się odapala. Jeżeli chodzi o desktop, przeglądarkę chodzi w porządku, youtube się nie tnie. Jednak gdy odpaliłem gimpa stworzyłem sobie małą grafikę 200x200 300 dpi odpaliłem narzędzie magic-wand to zawiesiło system.
Tak już musi być czy jest szansa jakoś zwiększyć wydajność mojej karty na Debianie?. Odpaliłem wczoraj distro Fuduntu z pendrive i gimp chodził normalnie.

Mam tylko oficjalnie pakiety z wyjątkiem fglx-legacy (swieżo zainstalowany system - Debian/wheezy). To nie tylko gimp, ale też inne programy chodzą tak mało płynnie.
Stawiałem na sterownik grafiki, ale może to winna czegoś innego.

Kiedyś do grafiki komputerowej starczał mi PIV 2ghz + stara nvidia. A teraz mam i3 4GB ramu i nie da się pracować pod linuksem, prosta czynność jakąś jest użycie "magic wand" zajmuje ok 10 - 30 sekund, gdzie na starym komputerze zajmowało to sekundę.

Ok. Zaraz pobiorę fluxa.
Mogę usunąć repo experimental z /etc/apt/sourceslist i sterownikowi fglrx-legacy nic się nie stanie czy jest jakiś inny sposób ustawienia tego repozytorium tylko do aktualizacji fglrx-legacy?
Nie wiem czy dobrze się wyraziłem, ale chodzi o to, że chciałbym móc spokojnie aktualizować system przez aptitude upgrade bez kombinowania, a jak zrobię to teraz to pobierze mi paczki z experimentala.

Z experimentala nie będą instalowane aktualizacje. Domyślnie ma priorytet 1.
Nawet te zainstalowane sterowniki Legacy same się domyślnie nie aktualizują.

gimp od wersji 2.8 wprowadza wsparcie dla gpu.
Wiec moze sprawdz starasza wersje gimpa, wszystko bedzie na procu, wtedy nie powinno byc takich problemow.

bo z tego co widze to nie da sie go odpalic bez wsparcia dla gpu, ani nie da sie go skompilowac bez tego :-).

Rzeczywiście na fluxboxie idzie to ciut lepiej da się jednak pracować. Jednak próbowałem w inkscape wykonać prostą czynność jaką jest stworzenie prostokąta i obracanie go. Nie widać tego dokładnie na screenie ale strasznie jedzie po procku!:
