Nowy komputer i nowy problem z nvidią . Debian 9.3 instaluję stery nvidi i z repo i z ze skryptu. Niby się instaluje ale znowu ciemny ekran. Nie mogę sam sobie poradzić.Więc znowu muszę prosić o pomoc. Z ciekawości zainstalowałem Ubuntu i Kubuntu i oba systemy dają sobie z tym radę. Więc z powrotem do Debiana i tu niestety klapa. Sterownik o numerze 384.111 działa w Ubuntu a w Debianie coś mu brakuje. Na starym laptopie działało na obecnym Asus F556U nie startują X-y. Próbowałem z innym sterownikiem i taki sam efekt.

Zmień na początek nazwę tego pliku
/etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/20-nvidia.conf
na na przykład
20-nvidia.conf_backup
i spróbuj bez niego, powinno pójść a jeśli nie to wygeneruj nowy (nie wiem jak to się teraz dla nvidii robi). To chyba najprostsza metoda zanim przejdziesz do edycji plików.

A czy przypadkiem laptop nie posiada kart graficznych intela i nvidii? W skrócie jeżeli tak jest należy zainstalować pakiet bumlebee do przełączania grafik https://wiki.debian.org/Bumblebee. Według tego poradnika instalowałem sterownik nvidii na laptopie HP Omen i działa przełączanie grafik bez problemu.(Sterownik nvidii z repozytorium debiana)

Próbowałem uruchamiać z xorgiem i generowanym i pisanym samodzielnie i to samo czyli przeskakuje na konsole nr1 i oczywiście logowanie. Bez pliku xorg czarny ekran na konsoli nr7 i wyskakuje okienko " Niemożna uruchomić plazmy- Plazma<2>" i info Nie można uruchomić plazmy, gdyż nie może ona prawidłowo używać biblioteki OpenGL2-sprawdż czy masz poprawnie ustawione sterowniki karty graficznej'- Odinstalowałem sterownik ,bo faktycznie mam karte intela i nvidie. Zainstalowałem programem "Apper" stery Bumblebee. Wszystko fajnie przebiegło. W menu jest ikonka "Configure NVIDIA X Server Settings" , ale nie pokazuje żadnych informacji. Jedyna pociecha że x-y startują.

W adres który podał tom155 wkradł się błąd z kropką, ale to nie znaczy że nie mogłeś znaleźć właściwego donośnika na stronie która się otwierała, czyli tej https://wiki.debian.org/Bumblebee , a tam jest napisane.

Przez swoją rozpasaną twórczość już narobiłeś sobie burdelu w systemie, i widzę że jeszcze ci mało sterowników dla nvidii.

Zrób tak, usuń wszystkie swoje konfiguracje, w grubie też. Wszędzie gdzie coś wpisywałeś i zmieniałeś.
Następnie odinstaluj to wszystko.

Zablokuj ładowanie nouveau (nie wiem dlaczego u ciebie nie zrobiło tego przy instalacji nvidii, ale nie sprawdzam ), na wszelki wypadek (oczywiście z root-a).

Po ukończeniu, restart komputera.
Teraz zainstaluj pliki nagłówkowe kernela (dla swojego używanego). Można przez megapakiet linux-headers-amd64, lub wersje jaką potrzebujesz.
apt-get install linux-headers-$(uname -r)
i zainstaluj sterowniki dla nvidii optimus.
apt-get install bumblebee-nvidia primus
Restart komputera i sprawdzić tak jak pisałem.
optirun glxinfo | grep OpenGL
I radze, jak dalej nie będzie działać to, przestań szukać gdzie co sknociłeś, tylko przeinstaluj ten system i zainstaluj sterowniki normalnie. Zrobić tylko tyle co tu napisze, nic nie dodawać od siebie.
1. Dodaj w /etc/apt/sources.list, do adresu repozytorium możliwość instalowania zamkniętych sterowników na końcu contrib non-free. Wpis dla Debiana 9 ma wyglądać podobnie do tego.

i
apt-get update
2.Potem zainstaluj linux-headers.
apt-get install linux-headers-$(uname -r)
3.Zainstaluj sterownik.

dellp: I jeszcze jedno, dlaczego w graficznym NVIDIA X Server Settings w pozycji X Serwer Display Configuration --Virtual Size wyświetla tylko 640x480. Czy tak ma być.
To nie jest istotne, jeżeli w grach które korzystają z nvidii jest prawidłowa rozdzielczość. Domyślnie teraz wyświetlaniem twojego pulpitu zimuje się karta intela, nie nvidia.

Dziękuję za szybką odpowiedź. Trochę mnie to oświeciło. Tylko w ".local/share/applications " mam pusto więc nie znalazłem wpisów które opisałeś. Ale w " /usr/share/applications" owszem tak.
Pytałem gdzie można poczytać ogólnie o wydawaniu poleceń a właściwie o znaczeniu np. uname -r (chodzi owydawanie poleceń i ich parametry- literki po myślniku) .
Nie wiem dlaczego stwierdzasz że mam predyspozycje do psucia. Widzisz z linuksem mam do czynienia od czasów Mandrake chyba ver.6 ale już nie pamiętam- Ustawiało się i kartę dźwiękową i grafikę i parę innych problemów. Dawałem radę bez internetu.
Na forum nie tylko tym prosiłem o pomoc zaledwie jeśli się nie mylę trzy razy( łącznie z tym problemem).Jeśli chodzi o komputery to początek sięga ZX Spectrum poprzez Amigi i parę składaków PC. Wiele nie przespanych nocy by postawić coś na nogi. No i należę do ludzi którzy w wielu dziedzinach dają sobie rade. Nie myśl że się obraziłem po prostu nie oceniaj tak szybko ludzi.
Po za tym Wielkie dzięki wszystkim za pomoc. Robicie dobrą robotę.

Ja nie oceniam całości twojej wiedzy, a tylko odniosłem się do fragmentu tego wątku, a sam przyznasz, że pytasz o rzeczy podstawowe jednak. Nie bierz tego dosłownie, bardziej chodziło o zwrócenie uwagi na to że możesz coś popsuć, przecież ja nie wiem jakie masz doświadczenie z Linuksem. Tam nic nie było złośliwie napisane, po prostu za rzadko wpisuje dystansujące :)
(O tym nie dyskutuje)====> A Mandrake, nawet 6 to był dziadowski system. :-)

W każdym Linuksie jest podręcznik systemowy man, jest przetłumaczony (nie wszystko) na polski.
apt-get install manpages-pl
I w terminalu dla uname.
man uname
Tam znajdziesz opis opcji dostępnych dla danego polecenia, w tym przypadku uname.

Przepraszam , nie potrzebnie zwróciłem Ci uwagę, nie było tematu. Jeżeli chodzi o " man" to wiem myślałem o jakimś dobrym podręczniku. Jakoś wolę formy książkowe.
