Zachęcony informacjami na stronie http://hplipopensource.com/hplip-web/models/deskjet … 0_series.html zatwierdziłem ojcu zakup urządzenia wielofunkcyjnego firmy HP DeskJet 1510. I drukowanie ruszyło 'od kopa' i bez żadnych problemów ale za Chiny Ludowe nie potrafię zmusić tego ustrojstwa do skanowania.

Do komputera mam niestety fizycznie dostęp nie za często ale w ten weekend jadę do domu i chciałbym rozwiązać problem z Wasza pomocą :)

Użytkownik jest dodany do grup lp, scanner

Jak ktoś ma jakieś pomysły mogące zmusić skaner do współpracy to chętnie wypróbuję - sam dłubałem przy tym już jeden weekend i poległem. Jak trzeba więcej informacji to od jutra będę mógł ich dostarczyć :)

EDIT:

Moje podejrzenia okazały się prawdziwe - winnym okazał się kabel USB. Wymieniłem na troszkę krótszy i solidniej wyglądający (z jakimiś zgrubieniami/filtrami) - po tej operacji skaner zadziałał bez zająknięcia :D

Zobacz jak sobie radzi simple-scan + zobacz ustawienia hplip-gui (może coś się da ustawić dla skanera)

simple-scan sobie nie radzi :( Przy próbie skanowania mam komunikat: Skanowanie się nie powiodło, nie można rozpocząć skanowania. W ustawieniach widzi urządzenie.
W hplip-gui znalazłem tylko jedno ustawienie dotyczące skanowania - komenda wywołująca skanowanie: /usr/bin/xsane -V %SANE_URI%

Sprawdź skanowanie za pomocą xsane ale z konta roota.

cups i xsane są zainstalowane. Przy próbie odpalenia xsane jako root mam uroczy komunikat informujący, że jest to naprawdę niebezpieczne i jeżeli pojawią się jakieś błędy to nikt mi nie pomoże... ;) Zignorowałem komunikat i mam te same błędy co na zwykłym użytkowniku:
Nie było miżliwe uzyskanie wartości opcji mode: Nieprawidłowy argument

Każdy z tych komunikatów pokazuje się trzy razy i po odpaleniu xsane nie mam nic na liście wyboru źródła skanowania. Na razie tylko simple-scan widzi tego hapeka jako źródło skanowania - xsane i scangui nie ma nic na liście.

Urządzenie jest chyba prawidłowo wykrywane przez system:

Dodanie reguły udev nic nie dało. Utworzyłem regułę wg przepisu z linka i niestety nic to nie zmieniło. Reguła u mnie wygląda tak

Xsane z roota widzi go teraz ?

Bo tam cos o złej rozdzielczosci pluje.

Niestety - z roota nadal bez zmian :( Właśnie widzę, że się pluje o rozdzielczość ale nie mam pojęcia gdzie to ewentualnie ustawić. W katalogu ~/.sane/xsane mam plik Hewlett-Packard:Deskjet__1510__series.drc gdzie jest sekcja resolution, która jest domyślnie ustawiona na 0 ale po zmianie na 600 też nie działa. Cały ten plik ma taką zawartość

Pod rootem nadal jest tak jak było przed zmianami - nie widzi żadnego skanera w źródłach skanowania. Ten sam efekt mam na dwóch użytkownikach.

Czy ktoś ma jakiś skaner i mógłby pokazać taki plik konfiguracyjny? Może tam trzeba coś jeszcze dopisać w tym resolution... jakieś dpi (ze spacją/bez) czy coś...

W swoim poście napisałeś "Nie powinno tam być coś w stylu 300 dpi?" - jak dla mnie to jest tryb przypuszczający a nie pewność. W każdym razie spróbowałem z wpisami 300 dpi i 300dpi - żaden nic nie zmienił (cały czas te same komunikaty.)

Dzięki - chodziło mi czy we wpisie resolution jest na końcu jakieś dpi albo zapis jest 300*300 czy jeszcze inaczej sobie ktoś to wymyślił...

Jakie masz te komunikaty błędów?
Podawaj konkretne informacje.

Każdy z tych komunikatów pokazuje się trzy razy i po odpaleniu xsane nie mam nic na liście wyboru źródła skanowania. Na razie tylko simple-scan widzi tego hapeka jako źródło skanowania - xsane i scangui nie ma nic na liście.

W pierwszym poście są też wycinki z logów.

Mimo zainstalowanego tego pakietu u mnie w dll.conf rtego wpisu nie ma.
yaros Może w pliku /etc/sane.d/hp.conf trzeba doprecyzować.

U mnie wpis jest - teraz już nie pamiętam czy dopisywałem podczas moich pierwszych prób czy był od początku. W każdym razie na pewno jest tam już od początku marca ;)
Z plikiem /etc/sane.d/hp.conf już kombinowałem - dodałem tam wpis

i nic to nie zmieniło.
Próbowałem też z dodaniem osobnego pliku hp1510.conf z taką zawartością ale nie wywołało to żadnych zmian.

Problem jest taki, ze ta drukarka potrzebuje min. HPLIP version 3.13.8 => http://hplipopensource.com/hplip-web/supported_devi … kjet_aio.html

Musze wyjsc, ale zaraz wroce to podyskutujemy.

W pierwszym poście napisał ze to debian testing.

Tam jest hplip w wersji 3.14.1

Zakładamy że ów testing jest aktualny.
