Witam wszystkich
Mam zapytanie posiadam nowego lapka jest to lenovo g500 cpu 1005m 1.9g
posiada on 2 karty graficzne intela i ati
jaki sterownik mam zainstalowac zeby byla oblusga opengl i wszystko ladnie smigalo
pisze o tym na forum dlatego ze jest to moj 1 laptop ktory posiada 2 karty i mam na nim debiana 7

Najlepiej wgrać Debiana Jessie i od niego zaczniemy

Wystarczą ci otwarte sterowniki czy chcesz męczyć zamknięte? (o tych drugich nie mam żadnego pojęcia, o pierwszych minimalne :D)

obojetne mi to wazne zeby chodzil czyli zrobic update do testinga tak ? : )
mi tylko zalezy na tym eby mi cs chodzil tibia i inne programy wymagajace opengl oraz programy : P

To na razie masz dwie opcje.
Zamknięte sterowniki, one powinny obsługiwać te dwie karty.

Jak stery zadziałają z nowszym kernelem z backportow to z nim powinno być lepiej to obsługiwane.

Jak to nie zadziała to rozważ aktualizacje do testinga.

to masz chyba ves'e taki uniwersalny sterownik, wg mnie najlepiej zaintaluj testing tak jak inni radza :)

jezeli bedziesz chcial korzystac ze sterownikow otwartych i zainstalujesz/zaktualizujesz system do wersji testing
to raczej powinno Ci samo się skonfigurować ale reki nie dam sobie uciac ;p

No właśnie do tej intelowskiej by sie przydał testing.
Chyba że wystarczy Ci używanie samej karty AMD.
Wtedy ją sobie ustawisz w opcjach sterownika i może będzie ok.

zrobie pozniej update do testinga i zainstaluje fglrx zobaczymy co z tego wyjdzie dziekuje wam bardzo napisze jak wszystko zrobie postaram sie jak najszybciej

Ogólnie bezpieczniej z otwartymi, bo są wbudowane, a nie od Turków z AMD za miskę kebaba

te gry co napisał nie wymagają zamkniętych sterowników (czyt. na nic im wsparcie zamkniętych) z tego co pamietam
to korzystają z biblotek mesy ale moge sie mylic i chyba sa to aplikacje 32 bitowe (tibia na pewno)

tu jest jak to zrobić z otwartoźródłowymi (przynajmniej dla archa)

To już powinno działać nawet w stable. AMD wspiera to od kilku lat.
Wystarczy zainstalować fglrx-driver i wybrać myszką lub w konsoli odpowiednia kartę. Przynajmniej w teorii bo nie mam takiej karty.

Nie trzeba od razu instalować Ubuntu ;)

@Debusr:
Jak sie zdecydujesz na testing, to powinny wystarczyć otwarte sterowniki. Wydajność dla tych kart jest całkiem dobra i  jest wtedy zdecydowanie mniej problemów.

Zdecydowalem sie na testinga : ) i jestem zaskoczony jak dobrze chodzi system lepiej niz stable
pytanie jest teraz takie nigdy nie instalowalem sterownikow otwartych mozna jakies
male info co zainstalowac na tym sprzecie zeby bylo ok ? :  ))
Dzieki Yossarian za propozycje z tym tesing jestem zadowolony z cpu itp
Czekam na dalsze info dzieki wszystkim : ))
a na ubuntu nie zrobie przesiadki nie ma opcji ; p
przy starcie systemu cos mi wywala z karta ati to pewnie te sterowniki

Otwarte sterowniki są po prostu w systemie wbudowane (w jądrze)

Najpierw zrób test
xrandr --listproviders

Prawdopodobnie dostaniesz Intel i Radeon, jeśli tak to

xrandr --setprovideroffloadsink radeon Intel

Jeśli bez problemu przejdzie to spróbuj
DRI_PRIME=0 glxinfo | grep "OpenGL renderer"
DRI_PRIME=1 glxinfo | grep "OpenGL renderer"

I daj wyniki (wszystko w jednej konsoli, ale po kolei)

Pokaz jakieś logi ze startu systemu i logi xorga.
Jaką masz wersje jądra?

Przy aktywnym DPM Radeon sam się wyłączy i nie trzeba nic przełączać.
