Gdy ktoś będzie chciał pomóc to coś napisze.

To moze pocieszy was to ze to samo bylo na testingu ;] I podobny blad z tym samym jakies 2tyg temu gdy probowalem odpalic z stable.

Wiec to takie gdakanie bezsensowne. Sid twoj problem... Cos ala zainstaluj od nowa "moze" wtedy zadziala.

To czemu nie pisałeś, jak to samo było na stabilnym?
Ze stable można pokombinować tak czy inaczej.
Sid od stabilnego dzieli kilka tysięcy błędów, Jessie od stable dzieli na razie około tysiąca błędów.

EDIT:
Na Gentoo wystarczyło zainstalować passegera i railsa z portage, włączyć mod-passenger w konfigu Apacha, i już go widać w server-info.
Bez żadnych dodatkowych czarów.

To by było na tyle.

Po prostu walka z instalacja tego juz mi tak szarpie nerwy ze przeoczylem by to dopisac ;]
Stabilnego nie chcialem i nie chce bo ma zacofane pakiety czesto potrzebne mi sa jakies nowsze z funkcjami a ten stable to o kant. Zwlaszcza ze sobie wszystko ladnie ustawilem obecnie i mi smiga.
Oprocz tego np ;]

Nie sądzę żeby tak była w wydaniu stabilnym.
Problem wynika z tego, że w sidzie wygląda to tak:

Package: apache2.2-bin (2.4.4-6 and others)

Transitional package for apache2-bin

This is a transitional package for apache2-bin, and can be safely removed after the installation is complete.

Musisz czekać, aż wszystkie pakiety i ich zależności zostaną uaktualnione do odpowiednich wersji.
Używanie sida wymaga myślenia. Szczególnie gdy ma on pełnić rolę serwera.

Tu nie pelni roli serwera. Tylko desktopa.
Serwer to mam na Centosie. Nie ryzykowal bym instalacji sida .
Tu po prostu wole wpierw dowiedziec sie jak dziala to ruby i to odpalic potem tam.I ogolnie potrzebne mi na "dzien dzisiejszy" by napisac mala apke dla klienta ale nie spieszy mi sie az tak :P a do tego potrzebny jakis test. Albo jakis free serwer ruby a to ciezko znalezc. Ale wolal bym testowac na kompie.

A nie dalo by sie np ze bym dogral starsze paczki z dpkg recznie?

W sidzie masz już apache 2.4, ale jeszcze nie wszystkie pakiety są dla tej wersji.

Próbuj na testingu.

alex011: używając Sida warto opanować mieszanie go z testingiem w tego typu sytuacjach. Taki problem to żaden problem, normalna sytuacja w Sidzie.

No ok ale dodaje dodaje sobie repo testinga i wtedy co robie. Zwykle aptitude install pakiet chyba nie wystarczy?

W sumie może wystarczyć – przy problemach z zależnościami aptitude próbuje znaleźć jakieś ich rozwiązanie (gdy nie zgodzisz się na pierwsze, dostajesz drugie, potem trzecie itd.). Poza tym polecenia aptitude -t testing install pakiet (tymczasowe podbicie priorytetu pakietów z testinga do wartości 990) oraz aptitude install pakiet/testing (instalacja konkretnego pakietu w wersji z testinga).

Ok. dodam sobie to do "zlotych mysli" :PP Poki co przydalo mi sie to ze przynajmniej nauczylem sie konfigurowac wogole ngnix :D
