Zainstalowałem sobie sterowniki do Samsunga SCX-4200. Drukarka i skaner śmiga elegancko.
Po restarcie jednak... Nie działa mi karta TV (jakby zły model był podany. W aliases mam wszystko jak było - czyli nic nie pozmieniał. Podejrzenie moje padło na plik /etc/modules.conf - chyba go wcześniej wogóle nie było.

Jedna zaleta tego czegoś dziwnego - wcześniej pomimo ustawienia strefy czasowej Warszawa i tak miałem czas o 2h przestawiony w przód. Teraz jest ok :D
Do tego zmienił mi się wygląd ikonek na pulpicie!

Z jakichś powodów nie jest czytana konfiguracja z pliku /etc/modprobe.d/aliases
Jak ręcznie wykonam rmmod i modprobe dla cx88xx oraz cx8800 z CARD=16 wszystko działa... Jednak nadal nie wiem, dlaczego mam inne ikonki? o.O

Miałem kiedys identyczną sytuację.
Podczas instalacji sterownika do radiówki tworzył się plik /etc/modprobe.conf z aliasem do steru od radiówki.
Standardowo on w debianie nie występuje.
Wówczas też nie działał mi karta tv.
Lekarstwem było wykasowanie tego pliku a dopisanie w /etc/modprobe.d/aliases tego co w nim bylo.
Chyba u Ciebie to samo trzeba uczynić.
Na wszelki wypadek zrób sobie kopię tego pliku aby można to odkrecic.

Ok. Rozwiązałem ten problem "przyszłościowo" :D
Jak bym przewalił wpisy z modprobe.conf i potem coś by znowu go założyło i znowu problemy.
Dodałem w pliku modprobe.conf linijkę na początku:
include /etc/modprobe.d/
I TV już działa. Ikonki nadal jakieś inne mam, heh.
