Zdenerwowałem się bo wszytskie sposoby zawiodło:P Pobrałem 1 CD Debianka Etch i do tego mam 1 DVD z pakietami (miał to być mój pierwszy linux ale złe sumy kontrolne są i coś mnie skusiło na Testinga) za chwileczkę skończę konfigurować system i przystąpie do instalacij tych nieszczęsnych sterowników. Podczas instalacij systemu standardowo zainstalowało mi się linux-image-2.6.18-5-486 , linux-image-2.6-486 oraz linux-headers-2.6.18-5 i linux-headers-2.6.18-5-486!! Teraz powinno być dobrze??

To już masz zainstalowany.
Przestaw w /etc/X11/xorg.conf na nvidia jesli nie zaskoczy grafika to musisz zrobic takie dowiązania

Tzn ze grafa nie wstaje na nvidia bo juz nie rozumiem.

A to glxinfo wydawaj nie z roota tylko z usera.
Chyba widac ze u mnie bylo $ a nie #.

zainstaluj przy wylaczonych x'ach

po skonczonej instalacji.. daj dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg

wybierz nvidia..

ew sprobuj z innym (starszym) sterownikiem..

To jest log ze startu xow na sterowniku nv.
Zobacz do /var/log/Xorg.0.log.old czy jest cos nvidia.
Jesli tak to go wklej a jesli nie to przestaw na nvidia sterownik wsystartuj z niego jak zostaniesz w tekstowym to przekopiuj sobie go do domowego i potem z nv i w jak bedzie grafika to wkleisz na forum.Chcę wiedzieć dlaczego xy sie nie podnoszą.

Taa, jasne. Tak nie mozna, bo instalator nvidii podobno chyba jeszcze cos dodaje do tego pliku, a to moze zostac usuniete przy dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg. Moze sie myle, ale cos gdzies widzialem na ten temat.

WIęc sprubowalem jeszcze raz zainstalować stery więc wyłączam X'y

loguje się najpierw jako $ potem su i root daję polecenie

instalacja sie rozpoczyna wyskakują bodajrze 3 komunikaty ostrzegawcze daje OK czy Yes no i zaczyna się budowa paczki 100% Done i znowu wyskakują jakies komuinkaty daję OK na końcu pyta mnie czy automatycznie skonfigurować xorg.conf daję TAK i restart. No i po włączeniu kompa to samo co zawsze czyli x'y nie wstają ale zauwarzylem że system zaraz przed prubą uruchomienia kde wyświetla kilka linijek mniej więcej takich
