Witam,
Mam problem z paluchem Kingston DT II 2GB. Przerzuciłem już trochę materiałów na temat montowania pamięci USB w Linuxie i dalej działa to tak sobie... Zaznaczę od razu, że problemu tego nie było gdy używałem Mandrake 10.0 (jajo 2.6.3-7).
Do rzeczy. Dodałem do /etc/modules wpisy:
scsi-mod
oraz
usb-storage
, żeby ładowały mi się moduły odpowiedzialne za obsługę pamięci USB, lsmod zwraca:

czyli niby jest co trzeba.
W fstab dodałem linię:
/dev/sda1 /media/flash auto user,noauto,iocharset=iso8859-2,umask=0,exec 0 0
żeby móc montować palucha jako zwykły użytkownik.
No i sedno sprawy: wpinam palucha w port USB na przednim panelu obudowy a ten miga do mnie diodą co chwilę - podpatrzyłem co się dzieje w /dev gdy on tak sobie miga. A dzieje się coś takiego:
- wpinam palucha, miga chwilę - w /dev pojawia się sda oraz sda1
- przestaje migać na moment i zaczyna znowu - w /dev znika sda1
- znowu zaczyna migać po krótkiej przerwie - znów pojawia się sda1
... i tak w kółko.
Nie muszę chyba wyjaśniać, że użytkowanie flasha jest niemożliwe bo nawet jeśli uda mi się go zamontować to i tak nie da się go używać jak zniknie wpis sda1. Natomiast jeśli w momencie gdy istnieje sda1 przełożę flasha do innego portu USB wszystko zaczyna działać jak trzeba - montuję go i używam bez żadnych problemów.
Na upartego da się z tym żyć... ale komfort jest taki sobie...

sproboj utworzyc statycznie pliki /dev/sda i /dev/sda1

przełącz się na dowolną konsolę (np. ctrl+alt+F1), albo wpisz w terminalku: tail -f /var/log/syslog
wepnij pendraka i wklej do posta, co ci tam wypluwa

Pod Linuksem, zdejmij i ponownie załóż i sformatuj jedną partycję. Miałem podobnie z penem tej marki, pod Mandrake działał a pod Debianem już nie.

Więc po kolei.
Wywaliłem nazwy modułów z /etc/modules - ładowałem je na sztywno bo myślałem, że z ich ładowaniem może być problem, ale jak się okazało to nie to.
Podstawową partycję miałem już założoną na paluchu - założyłem ją i formatowałem (FAT32) pod Windows. Utworzenie jej na nowo w Linuxie niczego nie zmieniło. Nadal używanie flasha wygląda tak, że muszę go włożyć w jeden port USB, odczekać chwile i włożyć w drugi port - wtedy na drugim porcie działa już prawidłowo. Komunikaty o błędach odczytu tablicy partycji pojawiają się właśnie w czasie gdy paluch jest w pierwszym porcie gdy jest na przemian widziany i nie widziany. Dzięki za zainteresowanie!

Cóż... raczej nie. Paluch wariuje bez względu na to do którego portu włożę go najpierw. poza tym na wszystkich innych portach działa mi np. aparat cyfrowy - chociaż w trybie PTP (bez montowania). Generalnie jednak z żadnym portem nie było problemów pod Mandrake.
