Mam stary monitor Dell u2711 (2560x1440). Kiedy podłączam go przez DVI i przejściówkę, zły EDID trafia do systemu, z ograniczeniem do 1080p. Na Windowsie emuluje EDID przez sterowniki Radeona Pro WX4100 i natywna rozdzielczość działa poprawnie. Na Debianie 12 podmieniam EDID w parametrze jądra. Nie dziwcie się nvidia-drm, mam dwie karty w systemie.

Problem w tym, że Debian nie wykrywa natywnej rozdzielczości z EDIDa, która jest podana w bloku 0 jako pozycja w Detailed Timing Descriptors:
