Ati Mobility Radeon HD3650

Witam!

Proszę was o pomoc. Czasem trzeba go wyłączyć przytrzymując przycisk zasilania. Próbowałem z jądrami 2.6.26-1-686, 2.6.26-2-686, 2.6.30-bpo.0-686 i próbówałem sam skompilować 2.6.31.

Pozdrawiam!

Re: Ati Mobility Radeon HD3650

O:) Kolejny "klient" z radeonkiem :) ATI powinno zmienić status sterowników z LEGACY na LEGENDARY :)

// Aktualizacja: Czytać ostatni post "lektury". Zmiany ponoć zaszły.

Lektura: http://forum.dug.net.pl/viewtopic.php?id=14854

Na początek skompiluj 2.6.31 z wkompilowanymi na stałe w jądro modułami:
>> /dev/agpgart (AGP Support) (AGP)
>>>> ATI chipset support (AGP_ATI)
>> Direct Rendering Manager (XFree86 4.1.0 and higher DRI support) (DRM)
>>>> ATI Radeon (DRM_RADEON)
>> Support for frame buffer devices (FB) {w praktyce powinno się odznaczyć pozostałe inne moduły, ale teoretycznie z opcji uruchomieniowych jądra wystarczy wywalić flagę "vga=", bo jest w konflikcie z ATI, najlepiej wszczel VESĘ i VGA jako moduły}
>>>> ATI Radeon display support (FB_RADEON)

Bo to trzeba popełnić gdzieś błąd :)

PS 2. Wklej xorg.conf - jak mniemam wystarczy tam zmienić coś by zadziałał X. Loga Xorga też poprosim.

Re: Ati Mobility Radeon HD3650

Dzięki za odpowiedz. Aktualnie jestem w pracy.

2. Nie używa urządzeń DRM, więc akceleracji brak. Nie używa bo kernel ich nie udostępnia.

Załadowanie tych dwóch modułów powinno załatwić sprawę polubownie. Acz jak masz w zasięgu 2.6.31 to lepiej go użyć, bo:
1. Lepsza obsługa KMS.
2. Teoretyczny wzrost wydajności graficznej.
3. Ogólnie lepiej działać będzie.

PS.

//Aktualizacja
Zamieszczam poniżej pliki xorg.conf, xorg.0.log, dmesg i konfigurację jądra (całość była uruchamiana z opcją enable_mtrr_cleanup mtrr_spare_reg_nr=0 w menu.lst gruba). Proszę o radę co dalej robić

Re: Ati Mobility Radeon HD3650

Faktycznie wygląda to na jakiś błąd w sterowniku.

Mam dwa pomysły:
1. Dodaj w sekcje "Monitor"

Kod:

Modeline "1366x768" 69.86  1366 1414 1446 1474  768 770 775 790

(EE) RADEONHD(0): rhdAtomLvdsDDC: unknown record type: e0

Re: Ati Mobility Radeon HD3650

A próbowałeś przestarzałego sterownika "ati"?

I ewentualnie w grę można spróbować skompilować z gita sterownik. Jak masz błędy to przeklej tu je, to pokierujemy Twoimi poczynaniami (a teraz skocz w przepaść :) Tak, tak teraz dobrze idziesz :) ). Przed kompilacją powinieneś zainstalować nagłówki xorga - "xorg-dev". I najlepiej skompilować sterownik z prefiksem do katalogu domowego ./configure --prefix=/home/stefan/driver_radeonhd_1.2.5.git  Nie zrobi się bałaganu w systemie. I oczywiście trzeba jeszcze dodać ModulePath "/home/stefan/driver_radeonhd_1.2.5.git/lib/xorg/modules", najlepiej otaczając tym (dwa wpisy) istniejące w xorg.conf modulepathsy. Grunt by w logu ciągnęło sterownik z tegoż katalogu, a nie z domyślnego.

Re: Ati Mobility Radeon HD3650

co do sterownika ati to próbowałem go użyć jeszcze przed kompilacją jądra.

//Aktualizacja

//Aktualizacja
A może spróbować jeszcze raz skompilować jądro tylko zmiast CONFIG_HIGHMEM4G=y ustawić mu CONFIG_HIGHMEM64G=y

//Aktualizacja
Wyjąłem połowę pamięci i sterowniki radeonhd ruszyły :D teraz muszę znaleźć sposób żeby działały mi przy 4gb ramu a nie 2gb. Spróbuję przekompilować kernel i dam znać jak poszło.
