biały prostoąt zakrywa ekran

wlaczaja mi sie dziwne biale prostokaty,ktore zaslaniaja albo caly ekran albo jego czesc,staje kursor myszy i jest chwilowy zwis,odswieżanie poprawia to, ale nie zawsze , mam pentium 3 533MHz,128Ram ,grafika Savage 8MB,kernel 2.4.27,kde 3,3(dzieje się to też pod gnomem), (VGA compatible controller: S3 Inc. Savage 4),co na to poradzić?to wina sterownikow czy czego?, probowalem zmienic odswiezanie i rozdzielczosc,ale to nic nie dalo.

Co do programu to wiem, że jest takie coś na win'a, ale poszukaj.

A może na początku sprawdź chłodenie karty. Może padło?

Przekonfiguruj X'y. Może to zmieni tylko problem myszy ale zmnień ustawienia gryzonia. Jeżeli masz mysz na PS/2 to przełącz ją na urządzenie /dev/psaux a jeżeli na COMx to na /dev/ttys(x-1)

A spróbuj od kogoś pozyczyć grafike i wtedy zobacz. Możliwe że kjest to wina karty.

reinstalowałem Debiana i problem zniknął(narazie przynajmniej),w porównaniu z poprzednią instalacją zmieniłem system plikówz ext2 na ext3 i kernel z 2.4 na 2.6,wątpie,żeby to były przyczyny tych plam ,ale narazie wszysko jest ok,dzięki za pomoc:)
P.S.Jak ktoś będzie miał podobny problem i uda mu sie to naprawić, niech napisze jak to zrobił ,może  kiedyś się to jeszcze przyda:)
