Zrestartuj komputer i przy wybieraniu systemu/kernela wciśnij C (przejdziesz do konsoli Gruba) i potem wpisz tam:
vbeinfo
lub:
videoinfo
Zobaczysz wtedy obsługiwane (dostępne) rozdzielczości, z których możesz sobie wybrać swoją lub najbardziej podobną do swojej.
Potem ją dopisz do /etc/default/grub np.:
GRUB_GFXMODE=1024x768
a jak nie zadziała, to za radą ArnVakera, jeszcze:
GRUB_GFXPAYLOAD_LINUX=keep
Potem:
update-grub
i sprawdź po restarcie.

Ty piszesz o Secure Boot, co teoretycznie zawsze będzie można wyłączyć na sprzęcie x86.
Samo UEFI (bez SB) pod Linuksem nie wymaga nawet dodatkowego bootloadera.

Powinna, ale sam kiedyś miałem coś w stylu 800x600 i dlatego zacząłem dopisywać do Gruba ;)
Ale to było przy starszych kernelach, które dopiero zaczynały obsługiwać Intela HD 2000/3000.

nadal brak zmian... wybrałem 1024x768. Z dodatkową opcją od ArnVakera także brak zmian...
próbowałem także z opcją 1024x768x16 i 1024x768x32 także brak zmian
Wszystkie okna w GRUBie są w 1024x768. Po wybraniu systemu w GRUBie pierwsze linie są w 1024x768, do momentu Linux wersja jądra...

To jak nie działa ani KMS, ani vga=, ani te GFXcośtam, to zostaje jeszcze uvesafb, ale też w sumie szanse marne i pewnie nikt tego w Debianie nie używa żeby pomóc.
Możesz z tego systemu wrzucić dmesg oraz lsmod, czy nie bardzo masz jak?
EDIT: Albo spróbuj może kernel z backportów, będzie inna wersja sterownika, a nuż coś się zmieni.

Jak przez neta (tzn. konfigurując połączenie z poziomu instalatora), to może być nawet mini.iso: http://ftp.nl.debian.org/debian/dists/testing/main/ … ages/netboot/
Z netinstall pomimo nazwy podstawowy system można zainstalować nawet bez połączenia z siecią.
