Panowie - działa. Wystarczyło tylko wyciągnąć i ponownie włożyć Tuner do USB.
Trzeba by się bliżej przyjrzeć modułom od tej karty.
I jak tam się tworzą urządzenia w /dev

wydaje mi się, że to sprawa sprzętowa jednak. Tuner mam podłączony przez podwójny rozdzielacz, tzn. z jednego rozdzialacza (monitora) mam poprowadzony drugi w którym podłączam tuner. Ponieważ monitor mam przez cały czas włączony nie tracę zasilania i tuner się nie restartuje.
Pomaga chwilowe wyłączenie monitora i ponowne jego włączenie. Wiem - pokręcone to jest. Jedno problem jest wówczas gdy przechodzę z Windowsa na Gentoo, odwrotnie lub też z Gentoo na Gentoo - nie występuje.
Ale jeśli by się dało coś z tym zrobić to chętnie się za to zabiorę.

Gdy restartuję komputer nie jest tworzone frontend0 - wnioskuję, że nie czyta mi firmware od tunera.

Porównaj jeszcze jakie moduły są zaladowane wtedy jak dziala i jak nie działa.
Może to być sprawa kernela 3.3 bo tutaj jest podobny bład w dmesg choć inne objawy.

Różnią się tylko oba modułem xc4000.
Poniżej lsmod z załadowanym modułem. Kiedy jednak nie działa a załaduję go ręcznie to nic się nie dzieje - poza jego załadowaniem nie wczytuje firmware.

Jak rozumiem jak nie działa to nie ładuje się ten moduł xc4000.
Spróbuj dopisać go do /etc/modules (nie wiem co jest w gentoo odpowiednikiem) ,żeby się zawsze ładował.

Wszystkie kanały z dodatkiem "Cyfrowy Polsat" są kanałami kodowanymi. Jedyna możliwość ich odbioru przez dedykowane urządzenia oraz oprogramowanie Cyfrowego Polsatu. Ich dekodery są parowane z kartami, także nawet wykorzystując zewnętrzny programator nie da rady.

Wiesz... tak samo parowane są karty Cyfrowe Polsatu, N czy też TNK HD z kanałami odbieranymi drogą satelitarną. Od kilku (nastu) lat nie dano temu rady. Nie sądzę, aby zbyt szybko udało się rozwiązać tutaj ten problem, ale... nigdy nie mów nigdy:)
