Witam, mam trudność z zainstalowaniem X na swoim Gentoo. Zainstalowałem tego linuxa na Virtualboxie. Potem według dokumentacji gentoo zainstalowałem sobie xorg serwer itd. Próba automatycznego skonfigurowania iksów pokazuje takie cos: http://zapodaj.net/1e2ff7d4766d.png.html
Uruchomienia taki bład: http://zapodaj.net/97c0336ddc7d.png.html
xorg.0.log: http://wklej.org/id/349348/

Offline
Dodaj sobie to do pliku /etc/portage/package.keywords:
x11-drivers/xf86-video-virtualbox ~x86 x11-drivers/xf86-input-virtualbox ~x86
i zaktualizuj... choćby przez: emerge -avquDN world
emerge -av1 =x11-drivers/xf86-input-virtualbox-3.2.4 =x11-drivers/xf86-video-virtualbox-3.2.4
======================

eselect news read new
========================
emerge --sync
a najlepiej zainstaluj eix, bo to jest w gentoo mega przydatne:
emerge -avq eix && eix-update
a potem zamiast emerge --sync dajesz:
eix-sync
========================
VIDEO_CARDS="virtualbox vesa"
a potem emerge -avqDN world
amidala / # emerge -avqDN world

To odmaskuj też wersję z ~arch, dorzuć jeszcze to:
app-emulation/virtualbox-guest-additions ~x86
do /etc/portage/package.keywords
w wiki masz to opisane: http://en.gentoo-wiki.com/wiki/Virtualbox_Guest

rc-update add hald default rc-update add dbus default
reboot
rc-config start virtualbox-guest-additions modprobe vboxvideo
i próbuj z tymi X-ami, powinno śmigać... jeśli będzie działać to i to wrzuć na stałe :)
(w baselayout1 dodatkowe moduły definiuje się w /etc/modules.autoload.d/kernel-2.6, w nowym w /etc/conf.d/modules)

Wykonałem co podałeś,
/etc/modules.autoload.d/kernel-2.6
modprobe vboxvideo
pokazuje takie cos: http://zapodaj.net/83e1bf8acb37.png.html czyli raczej lipton
dmesg vboxvideo
co sprawiło, że:

Pewnie nie masz DRM w jaju, sprawdź:
zgrep -i drm /proc/config.gz
albo
grep -i drm /usr/src/linux/.config
http://archives.gentoo.org/gentoo-user/msg_f34456c7 … a1f5fd09b.xml
Offline
No faktycznie: jest ze config_drm not set.
│ Symbol: SYSFS_DEPRECATED_V2 [=n] │ Prompt: enable deprecated sysfs features which may confuse old userspace tools │ Defined at init/Kconfig:779 │ Depends on: SYSFS [=y] │ Location: │ -> General setup │ Selects: SYSFS_DEPRECATED [=n]
bo przeszkadza aktualnym wersjom udeva.

Masakra jakaś:( A tak serio to: musze zamontowac partycje boot, partycje z systemem, /proc, /dev, potem chroot i kompiluje, prawda? Czy jeśli uwzglenie te elementy kernela z wiki to wystarczy zeby w miare wszystko smigało? Wczesniej użyłem genkernela myslac, że wszystko bedzie a tu lipa.
Offline
A genkernel to zło :>
=====================
EDIT:

Offline
Jasne że wczytać :)
cd /usr/src/linux && make clean && make mrproper && wget http://kernel-seeds.org/seeds/32_bit/gentoo/2.6.32-gentoo-r7-x86-07.config && mv 2.6.32-gentoo-r7-x86-07.config .config && make menuconfig
