Znikanie dźwięku odtwarzanego przez HDMI (DP)

Cześć,
Nie mogę znaleźć przyczyny dość upierdliwej przypadłości:

Dźwięk jest kierowany przez DisplayPort do monitora i podłączonych do niego głośników – i przez większość czasu działa to bez zarzutu.

Dość często jednak, okazuje się, że po jakimś czasie nie korzystania z dźwięku, gdy chcę odtworzyć np. film z dźwiękiem z dowolnej strony (Twittera, YT) mam wyłącznie ciszę.
Nic nie jest wyciszone. Dowolne źródła: różne przeglądarki, Qmmp, mpv – odtwarzają dźwięk (co widać w pavumeter i  pavucontrol) ale panuje cisza.
Po podłączeniu głośników przez złącze analogowe (i przełączeniu wyjścia) dźwięk słychać. Problem rozwiązuje też restart komputera.

Skąd te "zawieszki" dźwięku na wyjściu cyfrowym?
Będę wdzięczny za każde sugestie i pomysły.

Nie ma znaczenia czy pulseaudio czy pipewire.

Pewnie jakiś błąd w sterowniku związany z zarządzaniem energią.
Jakieś nowsze lub po prostu inne jajo (kernel) spróbuj.

O zarzadzaniu energią pomyślałem, dodałem (bo co to mogło zaszkodzić?)
/etc/modprobe.d/snd.conf

Przyznam że nie zwracałem uwagi na wersje jajka. Wczoraj aktualizacja podniosła wersje kernela do 6.1.37-1

Zawieszanie się dźwięku jednak nadal występuje.

Jeszcze to:
Ostatnio, mając więcej czasu na testy, zauważyłem, że dźwięk zawiesił się przy przeglądaniu twittera - przewijając listę wpisów pojawiają się takie zawierające wideo, po najechaniu wskaźnikiem myszy przeglądarka je odtwarza (z domyślnie wyciszonym dźwiękiem) - w głośniku słychać wtedy cichy trzask (nie zawsze, ale w ogóle nie powinno go być) gdy później jeden z filmów "odciszyłem" okazało się że dźwięk nie jest już słyszalny.

W dmesg albo kern.log nic nie ma na temat zmiany stanu karty dźwiekowej, steru snd-hda-*  lub portu HDMI/DP?

Okazuje się, że uśpienie komputera (pm-suspend) i wybudzenie go przywraca dźwięk :/

Jak restartować "dźwięk"? Restart karty dźwiękowej wydaje się rozwiązywałby problem?
