Zainstalowalem Debian sarge 3.1r0a z plyty dvd. Nastepnie chcialem zainstalowac stery do nvidii (jadro 2.6.8)-duzo z tym problemow ale w koncu po kilku dniach znalazlem opis jak to zrobic i udalo sie. odpalily sie xsy z logiem nvidii. niestey po restarcie nie uruchamiaja sie. wyskakuje blad - cos mowi ze xfree86 zostalo mocno zmienione przez kernel debiana i nie jest juz zgodne z projektem xfree86.
Co jest grane???? Juz tyle razy probowalem te stery robic, instalowalem debiana tyle razy, to z dvd, to pobierajac pakiety z neta, roznie kombinowalem ale nigdy nie dalo mi sie zainstalowac sterow na tym jadrze (tych ze strony nvidii NVIDIA.......run) teraz gdy mi sie to udalo wyszlo inne gowienko.

Edytowalem plik xsow, dopisujac rozdzielczosci, zmieniajac vesa na nvidia,.

Prosze pomozcie. Karta to GeForce MX 440. Jesli mam pokazac jakies logi to powiedzcie jak mam je zrobic, skad. Nie chce znowu instalowac od nowa debiana. a za kazdym raze m to robilem bo nie omialem sobie pomoc z tym. W dodatku tyle w nim sciaglem nowych pakietow.

No napisz, co zmieniłeś w xfree86.config. Co do loga, nie wiem (mam xorg), jak on się nazywa, musisz szukać w /var/log. Napisz jeszcze co sie pokazuje, jak nie włączają się iksy. Powinieneś mieć czarny ekran, i jakieś napisy. Skopiuj tutaj, co tam Ci pisze.

Po 1. Powoli
Po 2. Wklej nam log Xfree z folderu /var/log/Xfree(cos tam).log albo przepisz błąd ktory ci wyskoczyl.
Po 3. Krytyczne błedy servera X sa tak oznaczane (EE) w logach
