Otwarte sterowniki radeon x1250

Już 3 dzień się męczę z zainstalowaniem sterowników do tej karty. Wypróbowałem już wszystko co tylko znalazłem.
W końcu zainstalowałem karte na otwartych sterownikach, bo na firmowych nie chce pójść (używam kernela 2.6.32-5, squeeze).
Niby wszystko gra, żadnych błędów nic, ale glxgears pokazuje:

1233 frames in 5.0 seconds = 246.502 FPS

gdzie na moim zabytkowym komputerze (athlon 900 geforce 2 mx 400) też na fluxboxie, identyczna wersja itd. osiaga fpsy rzędu 850 fps.

Ja już nie wiem, powoli nie mam siły do tej karty graficznej. Czy możecie zobaczyć, może czegos nie zainstalowalem, może jakiejś opcji w Xorgu nie odznaczyłem.
