Enemy Territory nie uruchamia się

Witam,

po włączeniu ET, wyłącza się monitor i OSD ostrzega: "Video mode not supported".

Te linijki wyglądają podejrzanie, choć nie wydaje mi się, by to miało jakikolwiek wpływ - tego pliku tez nie mam, a et uruchamia mi się normalnie. Problemem też mogłoby być to, gdyby et używał np. 32 bitowej głębi kolorów, a Ty miałbyś w xorg.conf mniejszą wartość, ale to też jest ok, wszędzie jest 24. Jeśli nie masz, zainstaluj patcha (2.60 chyba). Spróbuj też uruchomić et spod roota, być może, że masz coś z uprawnieniami dostępu do plików. A jak to też nie to, to popatrz gdzieś na necie, jakie są opcje, z którymi możesz uruchomić et. Gdzieś powinieneś to znaleźć, a jak tak, to (jeśli masz stery do grafiki zainstalowane poprawnie, z tym też niekiedy są różne dziwactwa, np gdy uaktualniasz jajko) odpal grę w oknie, albo w takiej rozdzielczości w jakiej normalnie pracujesz.

Te linujki, które podał ilin są, o ile się nie mylę, odpowiedzialne za poprawne działania wszelkiej maści compizów i innych gumowych okienek. Jak używasz compiza, wyłącz go i spróbuj odpalić grę wtedy. Niekiedy to pomaga

Te linijki to próba ładowania modów gry, szuka po prostu w różnych ścieżkach, możesz je spokojnie olać.
A co do włączonego compiza to może być bardzo prawdopodobny powód.
